On Saturday, 31 October 2026, the Australian Chinese Medical Association (SA) invites you to our Charity Gala Dinner at the beautiful SkyCity Ballroom on North Terrace, Adelaide. This is more than a formal dinner — it’s a chance to support a meaningful cause while enjoying a memorable night with old friends and the opportunity to make new ones.
Supporting the Sammy D Foundation
All proceeds from the evening will support the Sammy D Foundation, a South Australian organisation dedicated to ending youth violence. Founded after the tragic one-punch death of 17-year-old Sam Davis in 2008, the Foundation has educated more than 300,000 young people through programs in schools, sporting clubs and communities. Your ticket helps give the next generation the tools to make safer choices and build stronger, more respectful communities.
An Evening to Remember
Arrive from 6:30pm for a 7:00pm dinner start. The dress code is Black Tie / Formal Evening Wear, with masks optional — adding a touch of mystery and fun to the night.
You’ll be guided through the evening by Leith Forrest, well-known presenter from Adelaide’s 1395 FIVEaa. Live performances will come from accomplished singers Jessica Mills and Jiacheng Ding of The State Opera South Australia, bringing beautiful music to the ballroom.
Whether you’re catching up with familiar faces from the medical community or meeting new people, this is a warm and welcoming night designed for connection as much as celebration.
